As a city centre church, we have much contact with those who are sadly experiencing homelessness and addiction. At St Cuthbert's we strive to help those in need and are currently working with local charity Steps to Hope, who provide a free meal for up to 100 vulnerable people, in our hall, each Sunday evening. After this food and fellowship, there is space for 12 to spend the night in a warm bed, before enjoying a light breakfast in the morning.
We are incredibly grateful for this opportunity to help our neighbours that Steps to Hope have brought to St Cuthbert's and have recently installed a shower, which they identified as another resource that would benefit their service users.
